for the 2018 NBPA
Player’s Voice Awards
For the 2018 awards, the NBPA partnered with 9 renowned digital artists to help with the reveal of each award. I sourced and art directed the artists to create a unique and powerful representation of their assigned award, which embodies the award spirit, the winning player, and the revolutionary impact of players reclaiming their voice.
The awards are by NBA players, for NBA players—media and fans do not have a say in the winners, so these honors provide a glimpse into who garners the most respect from their peers.

Awards Reveal & Social
To reveal the awards, we held an intimate gallery walk at NBPA HQ for players and select media. During this event, we revealed in real-time the award winners and their respective artworks on social using curated sets of iconographic GIFs, reflecting the art direction of the awards. Each winner received a Players’ Voice Awards trophy that I designed.
Capsule
Collection
To give the public even more of an insight into the players’ world, we collaborated with Spotify to feature a playlist hand-picked by the players. It is a reflection of the culture and energy of the game; curated for those who love the game, by those who play it.
We also created a capsule collection for fans to purchase featuring each award artwork on apparel, accessories, and prints.
